This post needs a write-up because it has such an elaborate back story, all because the sweet fiancee wanted to surprise his future bride with a very romantic proposal.
This happened on June but John contacted us as early as February to have us style their engagement session and most importantly, help him with his surprise for Jula. The thing is, although they have agreed to get married, Jula was told by John that he doesn’t believe in cheesy proposals nor in the significance of an engagement ring. John deliberately made Jula believe this to make the surprise even sweeter and all the while, he had a ring made and have made plans for the romantic proposal.
The plan was this: Set up a section of Delice to make it look like it was reserved for a private function. To make it appear so, we covered the entrance of this section with dark fabric. John was to tell Jula that they were to stop at Delice, on the way to Tops to tour their out-of-town friends. As they enter the premises, they discover that their best friends are also there, having dinner. John would point out the styled dining section and pull Jula for a picture.He’d then kneel and pop the question. While all this is happening, Nicolo from Rainbowfish would discretely take pictures from afar and slowly make his way to John and Jula.
All this happened and more. It was truly a tear-jerking moment to witness and I was honored to have been there. ♥
